This foundry started using Fluorolast WB to coat the inside of their bag
houses over three years ago. Even with temperature fluctuations (thermal cycling) of -20°F to
+350°F, sulfuric acid condensate, vibration and structural flexing, the Fluorolast coating has performed
exceptionally well. There has been no cracking, peeling or corrosive
damage inside the vessels since the coating was applied.

Total Protection Outside... |
| The corrosion on the outside of the units was causing nearly as much damage as it had on the inside. Now, fully encapsulated with the protection of Fluorolast WB, these units will have many more years of protection. Until Fluorolast WB, no VOC-free coating could stand up to a harsh environment of heat and chemical corrosion and also resist sunlight, ozone and weather. With Fluorolast, the exteriors of industrial facilities—including refineries, electric power plants and steel mills—can now have a much longer life expectancy while projecting a more positive image to customers and the local community. |
